Muzzle / wire basket

To measure your dog, see the example photo's 6, 7 and 8, do not pin yourself on the breed, but look at the sizes in the table, each dog is different, the breed designation is only a guideline. When in doubt, always contact us!

The sizes in the table are the inner dimensions of the basket, always take some extra space with what you measure. length at least 0.5 cm, width at least 0.5 cm, height at least 1.5 cm extra.

• Exchange or Return: We do not reimburse shipping costs for the exchange or return of baskets that have been ordered without our advice being requested.
• The basket can only be exchanged or returned if it has only been used to try on, it is still clean and undamaged and the plastic is still on the nose pad.

Very solid and robust lightweight muzzle made of iron dipped in rubber with a comfortable nose pad made of felt. This basket available for many varieties  of breeds and is one of the best muzzles on the market. Despite the size of the Muzzle, it is not heavy and the weight is comparable to other baskets.

The muzzle should be nice and loose, rest on the nose and is therefore much better tolerated by the dog than other muzzles. Because it is so spacious the dog can use it to exercise, pant, bark, swim, accept rewards etc.

Muzzle training

After purchasing a muzzle it is important that you train the dog through a positive muzzle training. There are plenty of videos of these training sessions on, for example YouTube and we recommend that you first watch them and then get started with the dog. Thanks to the positive approach, your dog will be more comfortable with the muzzle than seeing it as a burden or punishment. Unfortunately, there is still a taboo on muzzles and it is often associated as negative. We hope that the image that people have of a basket will soon disappear and see many positive aspects. An example is that it is worn to protect the dog and its environment, another positive feature is that a dog cannot eat off the street, a dog with a basket can play nicely with a 'Jolly Egg' or pork ball without damaging the teeth

Muilkorf of draadkorf

Voor het opmeten van uw hond, zie de voorbeeld foto nummer 6, 7 en 8, pin u niet vast op het ras, maar kijk naar de maten in de tabel, elke hond is verschillend, de ras aanduiding is slechts een richtlijn. Bij twijfel altijd contact opnemen!

De maten in de tabel zijn de binnenmaten van de korf, neem altijd wat extra ruimte op wat u meet. lengte minimaal 0,5 cm, breedte minimaal 0,5 cm, hoogte minimaal 1,5 cm extra.

*BELANGRIJK*

• Ruilen of Retourneren: Wij vergoeden geen verzendkosten bij ruilen of retourneren van korven die besteld zijn zonder dat er om ons advies gevraagd is.
• De korf kan alleen geruild of geretourneerd worden mits deze alleen gebruikt is om te passen, deze nog schoon en onbeschadigd is en het pas-plastic nog op de neuspad zit.

Zeer solide en robuste muilkorf van ijzer gedoopt in rubber met comfortabele neuspad van vilt. Deze korf is er voor veel rassen en is één van de beste korven die er op de markt zijn. Ondanks de grote van de korf is deze toch niet zwaar en is het gewicht vergelijkbaar met andere korven.

De muilkorf hoort lekker los te zitten, rust op de neus en wordt hierdoor vaak veel beter verdragen door de hond als andere korven. Doordat de korf zo ruim is kan de hond er goed mee sporten, hijgen, blaffen, zwemmen, beloningen aannemen etc.

Muilkorf training

Na de aanschaf van een korf is het belangrijk dat u de hond traint doormiddel van een positieve muilkorftraining. Er zijn voldoende filmpjes van deze trainingen te vinden op bijvoord YouTube en wij raden u aan die eerst te bekijken en er vervolgens met de hond mee aan de slag te gaan. Door de positieve benadering zal uw hond de korf eerder als prettig ervaren dan het zien als een last of straf. Op de muilkorf heerst helaas nog een taboe en wordt deze vaak geassocieerd als negatief. Wij hopen dat het beeld wat men van een korf heeft snel verdwijnt en zien er juist vele positieve kanten aan. Een antal voorbeelden hiervan zijn dat deze gedragen wordt ter bescherming van de hond en zijn omgeving, een ander positieve eigenschap is dat een hond niets van de straat kan eten, een hond met korf kan lekker ravotten met een 'Jolly Egg' of varkens bal zonder het gebit te beschadigen.
